The biggest and most heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the incredible team on AICU that took care of my brother after his accident. Laura, John, Phoebe, Mike, Winnie, Helen; there are no words good enough to describe how incredible you all are. Gratitude isn’t enough to thank you for all you did in the darkest days of our lives. From the days in ICU, I learnt miracles happen every day, and you guys were those miracles. Lots of love, Suzie

Happy 75th Birthday to the NHS ! I have worked for the trust in Clinical Pathology since 1988 and would like to thank all the staff for being such an important but often forgotten part of the NHS !

A huge thank you to all NHS staff who make this wonderful institution what it is against all the odds. I am so proud of the NHS and grateful for all it does. NUH has a special place in my heart thanks to the years of care I have received since being born with Cerebral Palsy and thanks for all the care given to my family. I’m so sorry your job lacks the funding and respect it deserves, but there are many of us that know your true value. Xxx

My Mum started her Nurse Training in 1948,in the newly formed NHS , at St Mary’s Paddington , retiring in 1990 , she didn’t work all that time for the NHS as in those days you left to have your children , but she studied more and became a Health visitor for 20 years. I followed suit and made my career as a Nurse for 42 years , 34 of those at the City Hospital, retiring this May . Happy Birthday 75th Birthday NHS

Cancer services Radiotherapy especially Emma Hallam and her team of brilliant professionals

Thank you to Cancer services who cared for me in 2020 and to this day in post treatment days. I cannot express how much your dedicated support means to me when I was undergoing Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy. Thank you NHS and Happy Birthday.

I am proud to have played a part in the NHS. It is a wonderful concept and deserves our wholehearted support. Many of us owe our lives to its presence. Many happy returns 😊

So very grateful for the care my son has had over the years. From his consultant, his physio, his OT, his neurologist, the genetics team, speech and language.... the list is endless. He is happy and healthy and faces his challenges everyday with a smile! That is testament to all the hard work and dedication the NHS provides! And now i work for the trust also! :)

MY NHS

Thank you to my NHS for a lifetime of being there - from me being a young girl having a tetanus after a dog bit me on cross country - to when I was an adult expectant mummy struggling through two pregnancies with hyperemisis - to delivering my two wonderful boys -to years later, supporting my dad through his stroke and subsequent complications - through to supporting me when I lost my poor dad as a grieving daughter crying and being held and supported by kind staff here at NUH. Thank you x

The NHS and its employees

I am so grateful to the NHS for the services rendered to my daughter when she was delivered premature that she had to stay in hospital for many months and having follow up care at home when she was discharged. So grateful again when I was ill and needing that urgent investigations and procedure without costing me a penny- totally a life saver! Hope NHS will continue to deliver excellent services to the public and for the future generation. Thank you NHS .

Our amazing NUH maternity
